Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Tifton, GA. The floater will cover IOPs, PSCs, both Walgreens and standalone locations with travel for Albany, Tifton, Valdosta, and surrounding counties. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (12:30-1:30pm lunch break) scheduled hours vary between 6:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays maybe included.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program

Nice to have

2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
