Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona to include, but not limited to covering Lake Havasu, Bullhead and Kingman. Work Schedule: Must be available for Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/patient service center locations. Job Responsibility
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
Bilingual in English / Spanish
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Be at least 21 years of age
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Nice to have
