We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PHE Teacher to teach across the PYP, MYP, and DP. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong healthy habits. You will play a key role in developing the PE curriculum across the IB continuum and supporting school sports teams, tournaments, and events.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons across PYP, MYP, and DP according to IB philosophy
Teaching subject sports exercise and health science
Promote physical fitness, wellbeing, teamwork, and leadership skills in students
Organise and supervise school sports events, teams, and extracurricular activities
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities and interests
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education across the curriculum
Maintain and develop PE equipment, resources, and facilities
Participate in professional learning to enhance pedagogy and subject knowledge
Requirements:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a closely related field
Experience teaching PE across the IB continuum (PYP, MYP, and DP preferred)
Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and health education
Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration skills
Enthusiasm for contributing to school life through sports, clubs, and community events
