Job Description:

We are looking for an operational leader to manage and support Phil’s pharmaceutical wholesale distribution through a period of rapid growth. The Wholesale Operations Manager will manage all activities of and the delivery of product for Phil’s Columbus Warehouse supporting Phil’s network of partner pharmacies in serving our patients. This role will ensure we have the right people, processes, and structures in place to deliver on that mission.

Job Responsibility:

  • Staff + workforce management: hiring, training, and managing the warehouse staff
  • creating work schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing any staffing issues or conflicts
  • Process optimization: optimization of procedures to control costs, minimize waste, optimize customer relationships and deliver positive patient outcomes
  • Inventory Management: Organize the efficient flow of inventory that balances maintaining sufficient minimum volumes across our pharmacy network
  • Compliance and regulatory adherence: coordinate with compliance and legal specialists to ensure warehouse operations and facilities comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serve as contact for internal and external audits
  • Collaboration and communication: Work cross functionally with accounting, client success and partner pharmacy operations teams

Requirements:

  • CA Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician License with no disciplinary actions
  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy manager (preferably with meaningful mail order component) or wholesale operations
  • Demonstrated data and analytics experience
  • Excel/Sheets proficiency is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Thrive on change and operate flexibly
