The Packing/Shipping Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by excelling in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impacting the lives of others. You will work alongside a team of talented individuals in a concentrated team effort and under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibility:
Manually fill prescriptions
Label prepackaged medications
Channel fill for the automated machines
Work directly with the medication and the filling or operations of automated machines
Ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner
Requirements:
Must hold a current, unrestricted license with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or trainee on Day 1 of employment
Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy
The ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed
Verifiable High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to use a 10 keypad
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to stand for the length of your shift
Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff
Nice to have:
Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
Schedule flexibility for testing support including early starts, late stays and weekend support
