Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health providing compassionate care to millions of patients. Role involves working in a leading retail pharmacy company to positively impact lives and health of others. Includes extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and opportunity to build clinical, technical and insurance knowledge.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver compassionate care to patients
Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Support team's ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Maintain patient confidentiality
Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
Customer Service Orientation - actively help people in a friendly manner
Communication Skills - use verbal and written communication effectively
Mathematical Reasoning - ability to use math to solve problems
Problem Resolution - judge when something is wrong and choose best course of action
Physical demands including standing, moving, lifting up to 30 lbs, visual acuity

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
High School diploma or equivalent
