Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations, accurate prescription fulfillment, and providing compassionate care. Includes potential immunization support duties where allowed by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional service
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor and manage vaccine supplies

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't specify)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't specify)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on tasks
Ability to pivot quickly between tasks
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical mobility and ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to work across market locations to meet business needs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
