Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, filling prescriptions accurately, following standard procedures, and contributing to a safe and inclusive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation
Serve patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Monitor and manage vaccine supplies
Educate patients about importance of vaccines

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
If state board doesn't mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
If state board doesn't mandate minimum education, must have high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical mobility and ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
