Job Responsibility
Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of SOPs
Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
Contribute to positive patient experiences
Complete basic inventory activities
Contribute to a high-performing team
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable
Support immunizations where permissible
Requirements
Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements governing the practice of pharmacy, including but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
If the state board does not address a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16
If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
