Job Description:

Hunter AHP have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Pharmacy Technician to join a GP surgery in Salisbury. This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician with strong EMIS experience and a keen interest in working in primary care. You must be available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm and able to commit to full-time hours.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and processing repeat prescription requests using EMIS
Conducting medication reviews and audits
Liaising with GPs and practice staff on medicines optimisation
Supporting patients with medication queries and compliance
Assisting in the implementation of prescribing policies and guidance
Handling prescription issues and ensuring safe, effective medication use

Requirements:

GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician
EMIS experience is essential
Previous experience in a GP surgery or PCN setting desirable
5-day availability required (Mon–Fri)

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a GP surgery or PCN setting
