Job Description:

Are you a Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Sunderland? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility! Join our team as a GP Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in improving the lives of patients in primary care. In this role, you will support clinical pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team, contribute to repeat prescribing processes and medicines reconciliation, assist with audits, medication reviews, and medicines optimisation initiatives, liaise with patients to improve compliance and understanding of their treatment, and maintain accurate records and support data collection for clinical reporting.

Job Responsibility:

support clinical pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team
contribute to repeat prescribing processes and medicines reconciliation
assist with audits, medication reviews, and medicines optimisation initiatives
liaise with patients to improve compliance and understanding of their treatment
maintain accurate records and support data collection for clinical reporting

Requirements:

registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
previous experience in a GP surgery or PCN setting is desirable
strong communication and organisational skills
the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
