Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health providing individuals with opportunity to work in leading retail pharmacy company. Role positively impacts lives and health of others. Requires completion of extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfying all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to State Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver compassionate care to patients
Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Support team's ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Maintain highest professional and ethical standards
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
Maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
Customer Service Orientation - Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
Communication Skills - Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
Mathematical Reasoning - The ability to use math to solve a problem
Problem Resolution - Is able to judge when something is wrong and choose the best course of action
Physical demands including remaining upright for sustained periods, moving about, lifting up to 30 lbs, visual acuity for computer work

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
