Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health providing compassionate care to millions of patients. The role involves working in a leading retail pharmacy company to help people on their path to better health by advising patients on prescriptions and helping manage chronic conditions.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver compassionate care to patients
Manage assigned pharmacy workstations
Support team in promptly, safely and accurately filling patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Maintain patient confidentiality
Complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
Customer Service Orientation - friendly manner and appropriate responses
Communication Skills - verbal and written communication
Mathematical Reasoning - ability to use math to solve problems
Problem Resolution - judgment and decision making in complex situations
Physical demands including standing, moving, lifting up to 30 lbs, visual acuity

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
High School diploma or equivalent
