Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Technicians assist with prescription fulfillment, customer service, inventory management, and may support immunizations where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional service
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations and health services where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor and manage vaccine supplies

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across multiple locations in the market
