Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, maintaining inventory, and providing health care services including immunizations where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations and other health care services where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't specify minimum age)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't specify minimum education)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
