Job Responsibility:
Manage and resolve prescription exceptions, including addressing claim rejects and coordinating with members and physicians
Accurately input patient demographics and prescription details into our data processing systems
Investigate and resolve complex insurance billing issues and escalated patient concerns to ensure smooth processing
Collaborate with pharmacists, escalating prescription-related questions for expert interpretation and processing guidance
Engage directly with patients and physicians through inbound and outbound calls, providing essential support and information
Contribute to various operational tasks as needed, supporting the overall efficiency of our medication fulfillment process
Requirements:
Be authorized to work in the United States
Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
Be able to work on a W-2 basis
Have a current Pharmacy Technician's License for the State of Virginia
Be able to work the following schedule: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
High School diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as mandated by the state of operation
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation
