Job Responsibility
Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy
Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Complete basic inventory activities
Contribute to a high-performing team
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable
Support immunizations where permissible
Requirements
Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensure/certification
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state board does not mandate minimum age)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency program (if state board does not mandate minimum education)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Nice to have
1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
