Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health will support pharmacy teams in delivering health solutions by serving patients, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations, and adhering to health care compliance guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in operational and service excellence within the store
ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
deliver exceptional patient and customer service
complete inventory activities, such as medication deliveries and cycle counts
contribute to patient care services like immunizations
comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and CVS policies
contribute to a high-performing team and safe, inclusive culture
support additional patient health care services where permissible.

Requirements:

Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
be at least 16 years of age if state board does not mandate minimum age
have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school/equivalency program
satisfy state-level licensure and national certification requirements, which vary by state.

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work across the market in other locations.
