Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
satisfy registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality
build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge by leveraging available tools and training.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
licensure requirements vary by state
ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
actively looks for ways to help people in a friendly manner
notices and understands customers’ reactions and responds appropriately
use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
actively listens by giving full attention, understanding points being made, asking questions, and not interrupting
ability to use math to solve problems like calculating day’s supply of a prescription
ability to judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
chooses the best course of action when faced with a complex situation.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification.
