Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, filling prescriptions accurately, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to positive patient experiences through genuine care and empathy.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill patients' prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
Complete company training program and satisfy registration, licensing, and certification requirements
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Complete basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership
Support immunizations where allowable by law and supported by required training and certification

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
If state board does not mandate minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If state board does not mandate minimum educational requirement, must have high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical demands including mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
