Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team by ensuring smooth operations, delivering exceptional patient care, and adhering to relevant workflows, regulations, and policies. Technicians are the first point of contact to assist patients and customers in delivering an exceptional experience.

Job Responsibility:

Following company SOPs to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health
following pharmacy workflow for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and care
completing basic inventory activities as permitted by law
expanding clinical and technical knowledge through feedback and growth opportunities
understanding and complying with relevant laws and CVS policies
contributing to a safe and engaging team dynamic
voluntarily traveling to stores in the market to meet business needs
delivering additional patient health care services including immunizations and testing, where allowable by law.

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
must be at least 16 years old if state board does not mandate minimum age
must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school if state board does not mandate minimum educational requirement
meet state-level licensure and national certification requirements.

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations.
