Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, completing inventory activities, and potentially supporting immunization services where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete inventory activities
Support immunizations and health care services where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor and manage vaccine supplies

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate)
High school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on tasks
Customer service skills
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to perform job duties

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across multiple locations to meet business needs
