Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to a safe and inclusive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations and other health care services where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Track and document patient information

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on tasks
Ability to pivot quickly between tasks
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical mobility and ability to lift items
Ability to work across market locations as needed

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
