Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, filling prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and potentially administering immunizations where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Track and document patient information

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
High school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and certification as required
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training
Attention and focus

Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical demands including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing upright, reaching, stooping
1-3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred)
Ability to work in home store and across market locations
