Job Description:

Part-time pharmacy technician position with training provided. Great for students with flexible scheduling. Opportunity to learn about healthcare, fill prescriptions, interact with patients, and potentially get PTCB certified to administer vaccines.

Job Responsibility:

Fill prescriptions
Learn about medicines
Interact with patients
Troubleshoot insurance
Deliver compassionate care
Maintain patient confidentiality
Manage pharmacy workstations
Support team in filling prescriptions accurately

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - ability to concentrate on tasks
Customer Service Orientation - friendly manner, understanding customer reactions
Communication Skills - verbal and written communication
Mathematical Reasoning - ability to use math to solve problems
Problem Resolution - judgment and decision making
Physical demands - standing, moving, lifting up to 30 lbs, visual acuity

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
