Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. The position involves assisting with prescription fulfillment, customer service, inventory management, and potentially immunizations where permitted by law. The role requires working various shifts including evenings and weekends.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations
Complete basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership
Support immunizations where permissible by law and training
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Complete required company training program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
If state board does not mandate minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If state board does not mandate minimum educational requirement, must have high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, reaching, stooping

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
Evening and Weekend shift availability
