Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence, assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and contributing to safe pharmacy operations.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures
Complete inventory activities
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws
If state doesn't mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years
If state doesn't mandate education, must have high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled
State-level licensure and national certification as required
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Attention and focus
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical demands including mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across market locations
