Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health providing compassionate care to millions of patients. Role involves working in a leading retail pharmacy company to positively impact lives and health of others. Position requires completing CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfying all state licensing requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver compassionate care to patients
Manage assigned pharmacy workstations
Support team's ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Maintain highest professional and ethical standards
Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met
Maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
Customer Service Orientation - Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
Communication Skills - Use and understand verbal and written communication
Mathematical Reasoning - The ability to use math to solve problems
Problem Resolution - Judge when something is wrong and choose best course of action
Physical demands including standing, moving, lifting up to 30 lbs, visual acuity

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
High School diploma or equivalent
