Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians at CVS Health work in retail settings providing compassionate care to patients and assisting with prescription fulfillment. They must ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Job Responsibility:

Promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
provide compassionate and genuine care for patients and customers
manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
maintain patient confidentiality
expand clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge through training
adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

physical ability to remain upright on the feet, move about on foot, use fingers and arms for tasks, bend body, stoop, lift up to 30 lbs, convey spoken instructions accurately, and perceive oral communication
visual acuity to transcribe, inspect, or view small details
compliance with vaccination requirements where applicable.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB national certification.
