Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, filling prescriptions, operating pharmacy workstations, and providing compassionate care. Requires completion of company training program and meeting state licensing requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures
Work at pharmacy workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off)
Show empathy and genuine care to patients
Offer immunizations and other services
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations where permissible
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
If state board doesn't mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years
If state board doesn't mandate minimum education, must have high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical demands including mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
