We’re seeking someone who can work full time 40 hours per week. We are offering a $1500 bonus to join our team (not valid for current CVS colleagues). CVS health has an exciting new opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases As part of the team, you will you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels.

Job Responsibility

  • Assists customers by responding to specialty product inquiries and providing technical advice or recommendations for specialty needs
  • Maintains specialty retail store operations by completing inventory management tasks, restocking shelves, and organizing displays
  • Communicates with customers and shares announcements and/or promotions on the latest product releases, features, and technology trends
  • Compiles customer complaints, inquiries, or concerns for senior managers to help improve future customer service outcomes
  • Monitors key sales metrics related to daily, weekly, and monthly sales revenue, units sold, average transaction value, and conversion rates
  • Operates within the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions, handle cash, and operate payment terminals
  • Drives effective team collaborations with specialty retail associates and technicians to provide customers with a positive experience
  • Determines how best to prioritize tasks and manage workloads to ensure the timely completion of customer requests and specialty retail services
  • Performs basic repairs or provides step-by-step instructions to customers to help resolve issues with specialty retail products and/or services

Requirements

  • Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Nice to have

  • Prior authorization experience
  • 6+ months experience required in a customer service position within in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position
  • CPhT or ExCPT Certification
