Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations, accurate prescription fulfillment, and providing compassionate care. Requires completion of company training program and meeting state licensing requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete basic inventory activities
Offer immunizations and other services
Complete required company training program
Support immunizations where permissible

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on tasks
Ability to pivot quickly between tasks
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to stand upright for extended periods, lift items, reach overhead, and perform fine motor tasks

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across multiple locations in the market
