Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations, accurate prescription fulfillment, and providing compassionate care. Requires completion of company training program and state licensing requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
If state board doesn't mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years
If state board doesn't mandate minimum educational requirement, must have high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical mobility and ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
