Job Description:

Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician to work as part of our Phoenix Hospital team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking to contribute to a high-performing, patient-focused environment with the flexibility to choose shifts that suit your schedule. Please note: this is a FlexiBank role working on an ‘as and when required’ basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.

Job Responsibility:

Support the day-to-day running of the hospital pharmacy service
Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with prescriptions
Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Comply with all relevant legal, professional, and regulatory requirements
Work collaboratively with clinical teams to support safe and effective patient care

Requirements:

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician
Proven experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting is desirable
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
A flexible and proactive approach to work
