Job Description:

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will support medicines management processes within primary care, carry out medication reviews and ensure safe prescribing practices, use EMIS to maintain accurate patient records and support clinical workflows, collaborate with GPs, pharmacists, and wider MDT to optimise patient care, and provide high-quality support to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Support medicines management processes within primary care
Carry out medication reviews and ensure safe prescribing practices
Use EMIS to maintain accurate patient records and support clinical workflows
Collaborate with GPs, pharmacists, and wider MDT to optimise patient care
Provide high-quality support to improve efficiency and patient outcomes

Requirements:

Previous GP practice experience (essential)
Strong working knowledge of EMIS clinical system
Pharmacy Technician qualification with GPhC registration
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
