Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy operations, patient care, and prescription fulfillment. Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, following SOPs, and contributing to safe pharmacy operations.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in operational excellence
Assist patients and customers
Ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures
Complete inventory activities
Support immunizations (where allowable)
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Track patient information

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
High school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure
National certification (varies by state)
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training
Attention and focus
Customer service skills
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical mobility and ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across market locations
