Job Responsibility:

Leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels
Ensuring medication has been filled correctly
Accurately entering prescription information
Contacting patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date
Performing refill reminder calls
Accurately filling medication orders
Preparing orders for delivery
Packing/shipping medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient
Maintaining adequate inventory
Managing inventory functions
Helping walk-in customers
Performing cash register transactions
Lifting and shipping prescriptions up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

Valid NC pharmacy technician license
Worked at least 6 months as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital pharmacy

Nice to have:

Worked at least 2 years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy location
National Certification (CPhT or ExCPT)
