Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Technicians assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, patients' prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and workflow procedures at all pharmacy workstations
Complete basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership
Support immunizations where allowable by law and with proper training
Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions from immunizations

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
