Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians provide compassionate care, positively impact patient health, fulfill prescriptions, follow ethical standards, maintain compliance with regulations, and receive training and development opportunities within a supportive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
maintain professional and ethical standards
ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
demonstrate ethical conduct and patient confidentiality
complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy registration, licensing and certification requirements

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
licensure requirements vary by state
ability to concentrate on a task without being distracted
actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
notice and understand customer reactions and respond appropriately
use verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
actively listen, giving full attention to others and taking time to understand
ability to use math to solve problems
ability to recognize and resolve problems
judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
ability to move and stand for sustained periods of time
ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
