Job Description:

Baptist Health is currently seeking a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a PRN, various shift opportunity working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records
  • Maintaining compliance with USP 797 standards in their daily duties for IV admixture and TPN preparation
  • preparing compounded sterile medications using aseptic techniques within an IV Room
  • refilling our automated dispensing cabinet
  • assisting in the central pharmacy

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years Pharmacy Technician Experience
  • Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy Required
  • pharmacy-based hospital experience
  • atleast 6 months of experience within an IV Room
  • licensed and registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida
