Job Description:

Back-End Pharmacy Technician position at Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, providing care to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Focuses on order fulfillment in a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients
Work in various pharmacy workstations
Packaging and dispensing of medication
Reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy
Coordinating stock rotations
Receiving product deliveries
Pull and stage product for distribution
Perform physical inventories of medication

Requirements:

Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Nice to have:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry
Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
PTCB National Certification
Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
