Job Responsibility

Lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team by ensuring proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team
Focus on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations
Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives
Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance
Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
