Requirements

Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Job Responsibility

Lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team
Ensure proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team
Focus on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication
Review delivery orders and bins for accuracy
Coordinate stock rotations
Lead and assist Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives
Provide regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance
Partner with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborate with field training teams as needed
Assist in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
