Under general supervision, the Pharmacy Tech III - Infusion duties include performing patient refill calls, filling delivery ticket orders, staging compound worksheets and pulling the necessary ingredients, packing supplies and medication for Dynamex or Fedex delivery, Coordinating the delivery via the courier service, equipment cleaning and testing, purchasing of medications and supplies, receiving and stocking of medications and supplies. Sterile compounding and duties which will include selecting products to be filled and labels using computer complying with departmental Policy and Procedures. Review compounding products for problems and alert pharmacist for assistance, if needed. Accurately prepare prescription according to department standards. Package medications, medical supplies and equipment for issue and/or delivery per department to ensure proper storage prior to delivery and in route. Prepare medication and medical supplies; verify correctness of order entry. Compute all calculations as needed.

Requirements
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience required
Experience in project management/system responsibility (e.g. Pyxis, narcotic control, QI, or pharmacy buyer/biller/analyst)
OR is a Pharmacy School graduate
OR expanded responsibilities over several areas OR possess a Pharmacy Intern License
Nice to have
Two - Five (2 - 5) years of previous IV and Chemo experience
Knowledge of Pharmacy terminology and calculations
Proven computer experience and accurate data entry skills
Detail and organizational skills to sort, file and retrieve information
Excellent communication and customer service skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and be able to articulate complex ideas for all levels of audiences
