Requirements:
High school graduate.
Technician Training Program desired.
Understanding of Pharmacy practice, federal & state laws, pharmacology with an emphasis on antineoplastic therapies, Basic concepts of investigational drug therapy and the pharmacist's role in providing and managing investigational therapies, Understanding the role and usefulness or various national standards such as those from the NCCN, ASCO, ONS, Chest Guidelines
Competency and familiarity with various computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to quickly learn or have a working knowledge of common EMR systems used such as Varian/Aria and Cerner systems.
Ability to prepare medications as ordered either by compounding or in a USP Chapter 797/800 clean room along with supervising and directing others in the preparation of the same
