Job Description:

Responsible for pharmacy automation and technology, and quality assurance/Performance Improvement related to medication dispensing and distribution. Performs evaluation of pharmacy system enhancements, providing specialized technical support, report writing. Leads, supports, and collaborates with the pharmacy leaders on implementation, upgrades, staff training, and project management of pharmacy systems. Provides assistance in compliance with accreditation, legal, and safety requirements and promotion of system initiatives, under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Minimum three years of hospital experience as a pharmacy technician required
  • Working knowledge and advanced pharmacy automation and technology skills preferred
  • Knowledgeable in pharmacy automation hardware
  • Maintain pharmacy technician registration and certification
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
