Job Description:

The role interacts directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintains our company's reputation for high-quality service. It requires independent and self-directed performance while working across a greater team.

Job Responsibility:

Communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients
Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications
Handle adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications
Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers
Proactively gain patient and order information
Work with insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing
Process new referrals and provide customer education
Routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist

Requirements:

1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
Experience multi-tasking with handling customers, retrieving information and communicating information
Must reside in the state of Pennsylvania
Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Nice to have:

6+ months experience in high-volume call center / customer service environment
Experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or other similar applications
