Position Summary The role interacts directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintains our company’s reputation for high-quality service. It requires independent and self-directed performance while working across a greater team. The primary role of this position focuses on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients. This role will work closely with Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient. Additionally, PSR is responsible for numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure our patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies. PSRs will effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information. This position requires a working knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education, and routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist. Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • 1+ year(s) of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
  • Experience multi-tasking with handling customers, retrieving information and communicating information
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to have:

  • 6+ months experience in high-volume call center / customer service environment
  • Experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or other similar applications
