Job Description

A pharmacist position is available at a healthcare facility in Fremont, CA, within an acute care setting. This role demands attention to detail, expert knowledge in pharmacy, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse healthcare team. Flexible shift options include morning starting at 7 AM or 8 AM, and afternoon starting at 1 PM or 3 PM, comprising five days of 8-hour shifts.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with professional standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Monitor patient medication therapies, advising on potential side effects and interactions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records via EPIC charting system

Requirements

  • Active pharmacist license
  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems encouraged
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting system
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
