Job Description:

A pharmacy position awaits in a dynamic hospital setting in Elko, Nevada, where adventure and outdoor activities abound. This role will have you working in a collaborative environment to ensure medication safety and efficacy for a diverse patient population. With a flexible schedule and weekend rotations, you will also enjoy exploring the vibrant culture and nature around Elko.

Job Responsibility:

  • Dispense medications with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information
  • Provide daily oversight of drug distribution processes
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Doctorate of Pharmacy required
  • Nevada Pharmacist License or the ability to obtain a temporary license within 6 months
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, with opportunity to obtain post-hire
  • Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
